Freedom, From the Inside Out Prison Ministry is a Bible-centered Outreach Ministry, of Freedom Christian Bible Fellowship, 6100 Columbia Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19151, Apostle Gilbert Coleman, Jr., Senior Pastor, that is committed to sharing the life transforming gospel of Jesus Christ with incarcerated men, women and juveniles.
Our Vision
Our vision is to provide spiritual guidance; to help lead the offender into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; to build them up in the faith; and, to equip them for faithful service in God's Kingdom. We believe that the offender can be productive in society, thereby empowering people to change the world through biblical principles and the power of the Holy Spirit.
Types Of Activity
Our dedicated team minister to offenders on a weekly and monthly basis. We provide spiritual guidance, emotional support, Bible study, discipleship, correspondence courses and follow-up.
Location
We have been God's servants in this ministry since 1990 and currently serve at the following facilities: Youth Study Center, 2020 Pennsylvania Avenue, Philadelphia, PA; Philadelphia Industrial Correctional Center, 8301 State Road, Philadelphia, PA; House of Correction, 8001 State Road, Philadelphia, PA and Riverside Correctional Facility (houses women), 8151 State Road, Philadelphia, PA.
