Who We Are
Kenneth E. and Katherine A. Johnson founded K&K Ministries in Port Huron, Michigan in 1998. Ken serves as Executive Director of K&K and Katherine is working hard at her day job and also has become an Independant Associate with Pre-Paid Legal Services Inc. They both believe strongly in crusading for "equal access to justice" for all Americans.
Our Vision
Justice That Restores is more than a slogan, it is a crusade. Society seems bent on taking vindictive vengence on anyone who has ever made a bad mistake and ended up in prison. It is right for any man or woman to be punished for committing a crime against society. BUT -- when the debt is paid it is wrong to continue the punishment by emotional or physical rejection. Society must find ways to "restore" the x-convict to productive relationship.
Types Of Activity
We do, whatever God asks us to do! Or, we do whatever our hands find to do, whenever we can meet the needs as they come up, wherever they come up, with whatever funds we can find. But to be more specific, we write to men and women in prison, and perform any service we can for those who ask.
Our magazine (newsletter)
We publish a newsletter, "The Kommunicator".Support In
We need help to provide free copies of our newsletter to prisoners and their families. Every supporter of K & K Ministries is part of our wonderful family. Funding "The Kommunicator" is an ongoing problem that we have totally committed to God. Paid subscriptions are few.
