Who We Are
Living Proof Outreach Ministries is a group of Christian believers from various churches who share a passion to win the lost at any cost. Though it has been in existence since the early 80's, we incorporated in March 2003. Our primary focus in ministry has been the California Youth Correctional Facilities and Adult Prisons. We also are returning to the inner cities to conduct in conjunction with the local church, various community outreaches.
Our Vision
Our Vision continues to be that of soul winning within the correctional facilities and inner city communities and building bridges between churches and effective evangelism endeavors. To encourage local church goers to fulfill thier ministry of reconciling the world to God through Christ.
Types Of Activity
In prisons teams conduct chapel services, lock-down cell to cell ministry, crisis interventions, gang awareness type services and substance abuse counseling.In addition we offer correspondence with Bible study, pen pals and assistence with Christian refferal for those soon to be paroled. As a Community outreach, our goal is to work alongside local churches to impact a community for Jesus via evangelism trainings, outdoor crusades and rallys etc.
Location
Primarliy at North Kern State Prison in Delano Ca, Avenal Ca, Chino Institute for men, Ventura Youth Correctional Facility Males/Females, Camp Rocky in San Dimas Ca and others as the Lord Leads.
