Who We Are
Pacific Youth's vision is to glorify God by serving to fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our mission is to create or facilitate model chaplaincy ministries with at risk and incarcerated youth through intervention, prevention and continuity of care.
Our Vision
People that hurt the worst need the best
We love troubled youth unconditionally
We are committed to excellence
We submit to authority
We model Christ in our work and behavior
We value troubled youth as people with dignity by always telling the truth and through attention to their needs
Types Of Activity
Youth Ministry
Our focus is on incarcerated, abandoned, abused and neglected youth. We minister in facilities that house youth adjudicated or in the process of adjudication by the court. These include both Juvenile Hall and shelter care facilities.
Correctional Chaplains
Prospect training includes seminars, workshops, internship and Correctional Chaplain, Para-Chaplain or Christian Institutional Volunteer certification. Staff are then placed and supervised in juvenile institution ministry.
