Who We Are
Sneha Jyothi Rehabilitiation Center for the Released Prisoners has started in 1998 at the Bangalore by the Passionsit Congregaton. Through this minstry we are able to work in prison and have contact with persons who wants to resettle in society. so far we have rehabiliatied more than 150 men. and now they are happy with their family and above all they are respectful in society.
Our Vision
When we see many released prisoners, due to no guidence they are back to their way of life and land up in cell agian and agin. We realized that with the proper guidence they can be back to society as a normal citizen and not agin in cell. Through this ministry we also present Jesus as their Brother.
Types Of Activity
We have program for this people for six months. During this period we are giving them counselling, spiritual guidence, creat work Work habbits, find thier skills and trained them in that and find a job for them. while doing this we have link between them and their family members and try to bridged the gap of missunderstanding and settle them togather.
Location
We work in Center Prison in Bangalore which is near to us. we have sundy euchristic celebratio with prisoners along with that we visit them week days. conduct programs like deadiction program, HIV/AIDS awerness program etc.
