Who We AreI am a servant of Christ, I have a 25 year history of addiction and incarceration. I went into Delancey Street Foundation in San Francisco, CA in 1995-graduated in 1999. I am a writer and a poet, I went to college for Human services. My life experience proved more useful then the book knowledge, I lived it! Women Of Hope Ministry reaches out to women serving life or on death row. working closely with New Vision Organization as their North Carolina Chapter Director.Our VisionOur vision is to provide to inmates spiritual truths, bringing them hope, dignity and love. My area of concentration is to support and be a sound board for women incarcerated and provide any resources I may have to help them in there lives while incarcerated. I have networked women to write women incarcerated to have special relationships with them. We now are a pen pal ministry only, until we get our Foundation started, "Women Of Hope Foundation a re-entry outreach for women paroling.Types Of ActivitySending Christian literature, matching women outside with women inside as pen pals. Women Of Hope focus is on women, Writing women nation wide. I am an author and am sending my 1st book "Crown Of Beauty" to as many women as possible to show them God's goodness and bring Hope through Jesus Christ.LocationOur Ministry in unity, with New Vision Organization has prison ministries in many states, our Chapter is in the State of North Carolina.Our magazine (newsletter)New Vision Newsletter in the making.Books we have publishedI have published a book for women in prison, and anyone who would like to see what the Lord has done in my life, called ("Crown Of Beauty") This is a great tool of hope and inspiration in what God can do for the worst of us. Any Generous donations will go for the purchase of more books to send to many women incarcerated, in shelters, or rehabilatation centers. In my victory through our Lord we can together send a word of hope.About Our Prison MinistryAn autobiography/testimony with my works of poetry has been in publication. This is my testimony of a soul gone terribly wrong and then restored by Christ grace. This book includes my works of poetry and is dedicated to those who suffer in any kind of bondage, incarceration, addiction and homelessness. I have been writing since I was 14 years old, my writing has changed to bring glory to Christ who died for such a sinner as me. My second book is being written now called 'Mercy".Support InPray always for the incarcerated, addicts who still suffer and the homeless. Pray their hearts and minds will be open to the message of Christ and his forgiveness. Pray for everyone who are many, who also have a passion to reach out to the other side. Pray we have wisdom to do the will of God in helping others and meeting their needs as much as possible.
