Hello, and thank you for your work and dedication to those behind the fence. As a sister of someone paying an outrageous price for a purely consentual act, I have spent the last year being angry and bitter. This hasn't started to subside, but I'm sure that it will. I expect that peace will come with the purpose for my anger as I become involved in reaching out. Thanks for a great place to look around and get educated about the needs and what can be done to help meet them.

I just found this site. Praise Jesus that it is here. I have been involved with prison ministry for over 35 years.
I am soon to be a commissioned local pastor in the methodist church. I work full time in drug and alcohol for the county. My ph.d. is in counseling and health education. I also the founder of Credo Recovery a Cursillo/Walk to Emmaus type weekend for recovering folks. I was on the first Kairos team in N.J. in 1978. What a ride all these years. Again, praise God.

This is my first time to your site. I must say that I have been very uplifted by some of the things I've read. Especially from ex inmates who were saved in prison. Praise the Lord! I admire all who has the desire to help those who are in prison. Wrote to a lady until she was released last year. Am writing to another whom wants for us to keep writing after she is released next month. Sometimes the inmates will bless you as much as you hope to bless them. Have a nephew in prison who is serving a four year sentence. Pray that he has learned as much as some of the inmates I've just read about. Especially the one that went on to become a preacher. Do I believe this? Absolutely! Remember Saul who went on to become Paul?
