Who We AreAuburn Correctinal Facility is the oldest prison in the United States. We began taking prisoners in 1817. The facility is served by 6 chaplains - 2 Catholic (1 part time preist, 1 full time deacon) - 1 Protestant (full time) - 1 Muslim (full time) - a part time Rabbi and a part time Nation of Islam minister.Our VisionThe chaplaincy's goal is to help inmates and families (as well as staff) cope with today while working toward tomorrow.
