Who We Are We are a Non-profit 501 (C) (3) ministry that helps Yuma, Arizona prisoners, x-prisoners, their wives, and their children. We work with local officials and provide help to persons who qualify. We provide many things, but only to the local Yuma, Arizona community prisoners, x-prisoners, their wives, and their children.
Our Vision We want to have a 72 hour ministry for prisoners who are just getting out. This involves knowing 5 month in advance to when they are going to get out. Trying to find them housing, a job, clothing, a hair cut and things of this sort. We want to spend 72 hours with them when they get out to help them get their drivers license, social security card, help with their birth certificate. Get them started and let them know that someone out here cares for them.
Types Of Activity We really only have Bible Studies at this time. And we volunteer to do things for prisoner's and their families.
Location Yuma County. The Yuma County Jail and the Yuma Arizona Department of Corrections or ADOC Yuma, as it is called.
About Our Prison Ministry We have a matching grant fund raiser going on right now. This matching grant is being put on by "Doing His Time" James Vogelzang, President. The grant is for $10,000.00. We are a self reliant ministry. We have no government backing. We depend on independent donations, and BLESSINGS such as the one from Mr. Vogelzang! If you wish to donate to us please contact me.
