Who We Are The Cornerstone Christian Helpline provides a New Zealand nation-wide free-phone service for any person to call regarding any issue. The Carers provide a listening ear and suggestions based on a Christian ideology / philosophy.
Our Vision Full vision, mission and operating statements are found on our web site, so broadly it is to encourage a deep, meaningful and consistent relationship with Christ.
Types Of Activity mainly the nation-wide telephone caring service.
Some limited face-to-face counselling.
Some written and email caring correspondence
Referral to church and professional organisations.
Location Prisoners have access to our number and so are able to call whenever they are able. We don't see ourselves as being a prime prison based ministry and so attempt to link prisoners back into the prison fellowship / chaplaincy services so that the two ministries can work together.
