Who We AreWe are a group of volunteers whose lives have been changed by the power of the love of God. We desire to bring this message of love and hope to those incarcerated in prisons wherever God leads us. One of our co-directors has been active in prison ministry since 1999 and is now helping to lead a new team of visionaries standing in the power of God. On a weekly basis we are experiencing new found faith through our church service, new decisions, and re-commitments to Christ. Our VisionOur mission statement is to present the gospel to people incarcerated in prison systems: to lead them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ; to bring hope in what seems to be a hopeless situation; to encourage them in realizing that God can lift them out of the oppression and addiction that has plagued most of them all of their lives: to disciple them through the teaching of God's Word into a mature relationship with our Savior that may ultimately prepare them for life outside of prison.Types Of ActivityWe meet on a weekly basis for worship and the preaching of God's Word. On occasion, we will have special musical guests. We have one-on-one discipleship as needed and available. Also we run a men's and women's discipleship program at the Philadelphia Dream Center on Friday evenings at 7:00 pm , 313 Callowhill Street Phila., PA 19123LocationCurran-Fromhold Correctional FacilityPhiladelphia, PA 19136 Phildelphia Detention Center Phildelphia, PA 19136 Phildelphia Industrial Correction Center Philadelphia, PA 19136 Bucks County Correctional Facility Doylestown, PA 18976 About Our Prison MinistryRecidivism is a word used to describe the relaspse into crime. Statistics show seventy-five percent of inmates will return to prison within four years. We are here to help lower that percentage rate by ministering the gospel of Christ and equipping inmates with the necessary skills and tools to become salt and light as they enter and remain members of society.Support InPray that the Lord will strengthen us in all areas of the ministry we are currently involved in, and the give wisdom to follow His leading for growth.Ministry EventsNo upcoming events listed at INPM Calendar of Events. |
