Who We Are
We are a Christian referral service for men paroling out in Texas (especially Austin) who need placement in a Faith-Based or special needs facility. The facilities we utilize are not halfway houses, but 3-4 bedroom Christian homes with family settings and Christian guidelines, structure and leadership. Our aim is to get men mentored and discipled in living as Christians after release.
Our Vision
Our vision is to provide a bridge for men and women leaving prison. We are especially sensitive to the young people (ages 17-25) who have been or are active gang members. The streets are a deadly place for this group without something like Barnabus to help them make the transition back to society.
Types Of Activity
Parole Packages, Residential Placement, Addiction Counseling, Christian Mentors, Employment, Transportation, Free Phones, Clothing, Food.
Location
We are currently just in Austin, Texas working with those leaving Texas prisons.
Support In
We need some grant funds, some more vehicles, larger and and more residential facilities, office space and a warehouse. Most importantly we need men and women who have been there and done that are who just want to help to come join us.
