Combat Veterans Prison Ministry

Reaching out to incarcerated combat veterans in state and federal prisons to address their unique psychological condition caused or exacerbated by military combat experience. Offering combat veteran-to-combat veteran relationship and encouraging the path to Christ.

Luke 15:24 - "...for this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found."

Who We Are

This ministry was born out of the combat experience and how war changes people. Combat veterans return from military service with demons haunting them to varying degrees, driving them to behave in ways that harm themselves, their families and impair their ability to work. There is a profound need to establish relationships with combat veterans who have acted out, resulting in lengthy prison sentences.

Our Vision

Seek out combat veterans in state and federal prisons. Make meaningful contact, identify with them, gain trust and encourage to undertake the path to God. Symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) are inevitable, and are not (contrary to many family members' belief) controllable. This is why combat veterans isolate, to avoid affecting those he/she cares about. Rehabilitating family relationships is integral to the loved one's own reclamation and redemption.
