Who We AreThe Emancipation Proclamation Ministry began in 1983 in Ashland Va. The Lord used the Ministry to start revival in the James River Correctional Facility, and various jails in Va. then on to Delaware (Smyrna) and to home in Pennsylvania. The Emancipation Proclamation Ministry is a powerful salvation and teaching ministry that lifts up the name of JESUS as "the only way to truly be free" (John 8:32) it is truly a ministry of restoration and deliverance, true rehabilitation!Our VisionThe vision is to create armies for the Lord Jesus Christ within the prison walls and to raise up intercessors, and the five fold ministries within the correction system, our motto " But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass as it is this day to save much people alive."Types Of ActivityMinistry, Bible Studies, Concerts, Family reunification dinner annually, ministry to the families outside (as requested) Referrals to Ministries and social service agencies upon release. Restorative Justice implemented with a Annual Christmas ministry to children (emphasis on children of homicide victims) networking for job referrals.LocationState of Pennsylvania, and all of the Eastern Region as we are called to serve.
