Who We Are Gift from God Ministry is an International non-profit orginization that provides Bible studies (in English and Spanish)that are written and answered directly out of the Bible so that no other doctrine besides that of biblical doctrine can be considered. In just 17 months we have been able to touch the lives of over 700 inmates in the United States and Tiawan with our Bible studies and newsletters.
Our Vision Our vision is to spread the Gospel to inmates, their family members and officer's through our bible studies and newsletters and to reach as many lost souls as possible through the Word of God. Matthew 28:18-20
Types Of Activity We mail Bible studies and a newsletter once a month. We send birthday cards, encouragement cards and letters. We also provide King James Version Bibles to inmates upon request. We do not offer a penpal program at this time but we do try to provide penpal information that other organizations offer.
Location Currently we aren't set up to go into the prisons on our own. In the past our staff has gone into some Texas prisons with a major organization. Many souls have been saved and lives have been changed.
Our magazine (newsletter)
Our Newsletter is mailed to inmates each month around the 15th. It ranges from 5-7 pages and includes up to date ministry news, praise reports, messages from the Word of God, question and answer section, poems, jokes, songs, scripture and spirtually uplifting information, the majority of which is submitted by inmates. Our Newsletter provides a spiritual family and prayer chain for those who would otherwise not have one.
About Our Prison Ministry With each lesson mailed we provide a self addressed stamped envelope for the inmate to return their Bible studies in. This provides a way of ministering to the indigent members that otherwise would not be able to participate. We also provide Certificates of accomplishment.
Support In Donations, Prayers & King James Version Bibles. Although our local church has adopted this ministry it is a small church and the monthly cost to operate is more than they can provide. We know that when God leads he also supplies our needs and that all money belongs to Him. We are trusting God to meet our need. (Matthew 25:34-46) Remember these are the words of Jesus himself.
