Elvin French provides his services free of charge as a Christian marriage and family counselor. Kay French is a concert and retreat singer/speaker.
Together we visit prisons, jails and youth authorities around the United States, and oveerseas.
Our Vision
We minister the joy and the freedom that is in Christ Jesus to the men and women behind prison walls. Further, we want to offer a helping hand to inmates' families and to the released inmates, as resources and time permit.
Types Of Activity
Kay French is a gospel singer, recording artist, comedienne and talented speaker. Elvin French, her husband, accompanies Kay in her concerts as a testifier to the power of God to change lives. Elvin, one of seven children, witnessed his father being taken from their home and being sent to prison, never to return. The Frenches want to see inmates' lives made whole and their families restored through Christ's love!

Joyful News Prison Ministries operates from the San Francisco Bay area of California, but our ministry extends all over the United States, and even into foreign countries. Most of our prison visits cover California, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Ari
About Our Prison Ministry
Joyful News Prison Ministries is a "mom and pop" ministry. The Frenches are in a different prison most weekends, and many weekdays or nights.
