Who We Are

In prison Ministry for approx. 12 years. Serve as asst. Chaplain at F.C.Nelles C.Y.A since 1988. Currently minister at 2 C.Y.A. facilities on regular basis w/ministry team made up of individuals from various church ministries who have a heart for those incarcerated. Also minister at 2 adult facilities on regular basis. Our ministry teams serve conducting chapel services, living unit-cell to cell ministry, lock down ministry, gang awareness and substance abuse related ministry as I am also a certified substance abuse counselor and true recovery comes from the Lord.

Our Vision

Our Evangelism Ministry is called: OPERATION IMPACT MINISTRIES and prison ministry is one of three focuses, the other two being community outreach and special projects, therefore our goal is to impact the hearts of those whom God puts before us in a way that draws them upwards towards Him for as He is lifted up, He draws men unto Himself. Yes, to make an eternal impact that changes hearts, changes lives.

Types Of Activity

Chapel Services-Music/Praise, Testimony, Preaching of the Word/Gospel of Christ. Ministry on living units, one on one, small groups, lock down units. Working with Gang Info. Coordinators ministry geared towards gang members, Christianity as an alternative to gangs, amen. Also in the areas of substance abuse, addiction and recovery, correspondance ministry, after care assisting those getting ready for parole w/outside resources etc.

F.C.Nelles C.Y.A. in Whittier Ventura C.Y.A. C.R.C.in Norco Calif. North Kern State Prison in Delano.
