Who We AreMobile County Metro Jail Ministries was established to assist in ministering in the jail in Moble, Alabama to the spiritual needs of the inmates and their families. It seeks to to demonstrate the love of God to inmates and their families and to unlock the minds and hearts of people in our community. Ministries are provided by Christian volunteers who demonstrate a genuine call to Jail/Prison ministries.Our VisionChristian volunteers minister to the spiritual needs of inmate population through strategies such as Bible and Christian discipleship training, mentoring, recovery support programs, life skills training, aftercare and community reintegration, family reconciliation and restoration.Types Of ActivityChristian volunteers conduct weekly Christian worship and training services for inmates. Distributing Bibles and faith-based reading materials to inmates. Providing reading glasses to inmates. Providing Angel Tree Christmas programs for inmates and their families.
