Who We Are The Mount Oak Prison Ministry was founded in 1991 with the purpose of starting Bible Studies at the local county detention center. Currently, we are leading studies in two housing units on a weekly basis. The ministry has grown to include after-care work with some of the prisoners and recently it has given birth to Mephibosheth's Redemption Farm - a boys ranch for emotionally disturbed foster kids.
The primary purpose of Redemption Farm is to change lives BEFORE the boys enter a life of crime and are incarcerated. The farm will (Lord willing) take their first boys this coming summer (2001) - in Western Maryland.
Our Vision Show them Jesus!!
