Who We AreWith many obstacles to their faith and freedom in Christ, Christian men have difficulty integrating into a local church body. This leaves a dangerous gap that threatens to trap and return a New Brother to the old life that he left inside. New Brothers Fellowship is a non-denominational Christian ministry for men who have recently been released from a correctional facility. NBF strives to be a lifeline, helping New Brothers make a smooth transition from prison into a local church. Our VisionNBF is not a church substitute, recovery program, or social club. Our objective is to see every New Brother fulfill God's plan for their lives through a committed relationship to a church and the Body of Christ. We accomplish this goal by gathering together for worship and fellowship every two weeks. By meeting at different host churches, supported by volunteers from local churches, men build relationships that pave the way for God to lead them to the right church home.Types Of ActivityOur emphasis is on the spiritual growth and maturity of Christian men and their families. With this as our foundation, our worship services are spirit-filled with a message that is direct and full of biblical truth. Fellowship services are often thematic, with an emphasis on various subjects such as families, wives and girlfriends, children, intercession, one-on-one prayer, and more. We also strive to provide opportunities for families to come and fellowship at potluck and outdoor family events.LocationOur ministry is based in Essex County, Massachusetts. We minister in county and state facilities throughout Massachusetts. Our magazine (newsletter)We send a weekly e-Update called "iNBrieF" to anyone who would like to subscribe.
