Who We Are

New Beginnings Prison & Outreach Ministries is a non-profit program of Calvary Temple Church located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Under the leadership of Corky Pinkston, ex-fellon himself, the program focuses on adult ex-offenders, substance abusers, family members of offenders, and juvenile offenders. We not only offer in-prison discipleship, but have established a support group-type program on Friday nights.

Our Vision

Our vision includes the continued development and expansion of our new transitional housing for women project. The state of Oklahoma incarcerates more women per capita than any other state in the US, but does not provide the necessary services during their incarceration to help them become self-sufficient and productive.

Types Of Activity

We offer individual spiritual counseling, in-prison discipleship for male and female correctional facilities, mentoring in juvenile facilities, and speakouts by ex-female offenders. We also have a Friday night New Beginnings Support Group for ex-felons, substance abusers, family members, at-risk youth, and others needing to fill a void in their lives.

Location

Various Oklahoma correctional facilities for adults and juveniles. Also in Tulsa County Jail.

About Our Prison Ministry

We have great compassion for those who God calls "the least of our brothers and sisters." All who are involved in this ministry believe they have been called specifically to do this work, and offer an unconditional acceptance and empathy to thos

Support In

New Beginnings Prison & Outreach Ministry is non-profit program of Calvary Temple Church. We are in need of not only financial support, but also donations of food, bedding, kitchen supplies and equipment, and children's program materials. We would really like to expand the current children's area with educational/counseling-type curriculum that will assist in their reunification with their mothers. We can always use your prayers.
