Who We Are

We have this idea to start a broadcasting service to/for/about inmates, by placing a radio transmitter, licensed for the relatively new low-power FM service, near each prison. We would have to find a local church to “sponsor” and be the licensee in each area, since the law requires that the prospective licensee be in existence for two years prior to the application and the transmitter must be located 10 miles from their main base of operations.

Our Vision

Imagine bringing a Christian message to the inmates 24 hours a day with a strong local signal that had programming oriented towards the convict! Tips on how to live as a Christian inmate in a not-so-Christian environment; pre-release information; broadcasting of other prison chapel programs, etc.

Types Of Activity

It is our passion to contribute significantly to the crucial role of regenerating moral principles and family values in the lives of offenders. By utilizing radio we will impact the whole environment of correctional facilities in a positive and meaningful manner, in order to encourage the participation of offenders & correctional officers in the rehabilitation process.

Location

It would be easy to link the transmitters together by the relative new and inexpensive Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), and the local church would be able to transmit its services to the inmates, too, thusly fulfilling the minimum local content rule of the Federal Communications Commission.

Support In
