Who We Are Prisoners Of Hope Ministries is dedicated to bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ to those in prison, Jail, and to family members of inmates. Pastor Barry, his wife Shelly and three children live in San Diego, California where Barry is an Assistant Pastor. Barry and his wife Shelly started Prisoners Of Hope, a ministry reaching inmates all around the United States through a newsletter directed towards inmates.
Our Vision The Vision for POH is simple:
We desire to minister to Jesus by reaching the imprisoned and their families.
We Believe we are ministering to Jesus and in turn Jesus ministers to the inmates.
We are just the heavenly postman - what Jesus gives us, we in turn give to the inmates. "Every good gift and every perfect gift is fromabove, and cometh down from the Father oflights, with whom is no variableness, neithershadow of turning." James 1:17. Everything comes from Jesus we just pass it out.
Types Of Activity We provide all our services for free. We offer free correspondence courses to inmates. Send Bible's and other Christian Books. Offer cassette and video Bible studies. Counseling to family members. Twelve page Newsletter six times a year-circulation of 30,000 each issue Conduct Jail and Prison worship services. Outreach Crusades to Prisons.
