Who We Are

We started as a prison ministry of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills in 1995. At that time we were going into one of the facilities at the California Institution for Men in Chino, CA. We were only going in on the fifth Tuesdays of the month. There are not many months with five Tuesdays in them! What I am getting at is, don't be discouraged if it isn't what you would like it to be when your prison ministry first starts up. Where God guides, He will make all the provisions you need.

Our Vision

To serve the body of Christ behind prison walls. Helping men and women establish churches within their prisons and jails that are strongly rooted in the Word of God. To help other prison ministries get started.

Types Of Activity

Bible studies, yard outreaches, distribute Bibles and other Christian materials. Speak at Churches and other Christian groups on the need to be in prison/jail ministry.

Location

Chaplain Ed is the Senior Chaplain at Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Men's Central Jail; the ministry goes into the California Institution for Men; California Institution for Women; Chuckawalla Sate; Ironwood State; Adelanto Community Correctional Facility.
