Who We Are

Serving women in and out of prison. We provide housing and discipleship for women coming out of prison; a full correspondence ministry for those women still serving sentences and advocacy where appropriate for women and their families.

Our Vision

Spirit House Ministries, Inc. will demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ to the women incarcerated and coming out of prison in the State of Texas and will build solutions to minister to their housing, physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Through God’s love and our service we will assist in removing the barriers to success and equip them for their new life in Christ.

Types Of Activity

Housing, discipleship, counseling, pen pal and visitation ministry, after care, drug and alcohol support groups and recovery programs, spiritual immersion programs during transitional program. We have a pen pal ministry as well as visitation ministry, reaching over 50 women a month with personal letters of discipleship and friendship. Each letter is answered personally.

Location

We are a state wide Texas Prison Ministry.

Our magazine (newsletter)

We have a quarterly newsletter called "A Heart for Women" including stories of triumph, ministry business and the current needs in our efforts to grow and serve more women state wide.

Support In

We are a grassroots organization and need prayer for funding, resources and collaborations which will expand our programs to reach more women throughout Texas.
