Established in 2003, the SJM Family Foundation is a private family foundation that serves and reflect the personal choices of each member of the SJM family. Our mission is to improve the quality of individuals' lives, causing a long-term impact by demonstrating commitment to people, organizations, and churches while seeking solutions for specific social problems through research, training, and support.
Our Vision
We seek to invest in people's lives and build the community through support of projects and organizations with the purpose of providing opportunities for individuals as well as strengthening family bonds.
Types Of Activity
PARfessional Initiative (addictions, recovery & prevention), HealTHY Soul (biblical based community feeding support program which incorporates some principles from First Lady Obama EAT HEALTY initative), Educational re-entry crrespondence program for inmates (was listed in Prison Legal News & Prisoners' Guerrilla Handbook to Correspondence Programs -2008 edition by Dr. Jon Marc Taylor).

SJM Family Foundation has published an 54 page informative booklet entitled, "Getting Ahead: An Ex-Con's Guide to Getting Ahead in Today's Society." Compiled by a former federal inmate, the booklet features tips for ex-offenders and inmates who will return to society within 18 months. It is available in an electronic format.Support In
