Who We AreTransformed Life Ministry was established by Pastor Glen Awong, a former drug addict who received multiple prison sentences. While in prison, he received Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour and his life was transformed. Following his discharge from prison, Mr. Awong became an ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and embarked upon a mission to aid the poor and destitute. Our VisionTo provide accommodation for ex-prisoners and their families so that they need not be separated any longer after discharge; to build a Trade Centre to empower ex-prisoners so that they can find lawful gainful employment; to see the lives of the poor and destitute as well as offenders transformed by the power of God.Types Of ActivityWe operate a transitional accommodation facility for ex-prisoners at our base in Arouca, Trinidad. We are located very close to the main prisons on the island. We provide food, clothing, medical care and spiritual and academic and skills training for residents of the facility. We also conduct worship services at our facility led by Pastor Glen Awong.LocationWe shall soon be returning to the local prisons (Golden Grove Prison in Arouca) to provide spiritual counselling to inmates.About Our Prison MinistryOur ministry is in the process of expanding as we are situated on 6 lots of land and are developing the land to construct better accommodations for the ex-prisoners and their families as well as a fully operational trade centre for the ex-prisoners.Support InThe spiritual transformation of prisoners and ex-prisoners; Committed Volunteers to work along with the ministry for the long haul; Finances to acquire the necessary equipment and furnishings; Favour with the government and corporate sponsors so that we can receive financial assistance on a regular basis.Ministry EventsNo upcoming events listed at INPM Calendar of Events. |
