Shelter is 25 years old.It was started by a group of young people in 1981 and the ministry grew and every month about 500 children are being helped through the residential centers, single mothers support group, young prisoners ministry, refugee work and the teen drop in center. Add your prayer requestMy prayer is for my son Joshua. He's 19 and is doing 12 and a half years for armed robbery. He is my only son and this is the hardest thing to live with each day. He is in a level 5 prison and that terrifies me. He always tries to be the tough one,wants everyone to be his friend, and don't know how he will fare in prison. Please pray for both of us. Pray that prison will not harden him anymore than he already is. Also pray for his salvation.
