Who We Are
CrossOver Prison Ministries was founded in 2005 by a small group of volunteers interested in developing programs with and for men and women who are in prison, those released, and their families. In that same year, we partnered with Prison Fellowship in Omaha to serve as their Aftercare Delivery Team. Therefore, CrossOver collaborates with churches, social service agencies, and other organizations to assist people in prison and families in times of transition.
Our Vision
CrossOver Prison Ministries is a non-denominational, non-profit, Christian organization devoted to men and women in prison, those released and their families. In response to God’s love for us, we will partner with those in prison and seek to encourage one another in positive living.
Types Of Activity
We have a variety of ministries that include bible studies, worship services, reentry support teams, pen pals, and Christmas gifts for children of men and women in prison. We work with men and women in prison, those who have been released, people in recovery, as well and friends and family members.
Location
We primarily work with the prisons in the Omaha, Nebraska, area as well as men and women who have been released or in recovery in the Omaha area. Our Correspondent and Card ministries reach men and women in several prisons across the country.
