Who We Are

Counterpoint was founded in 1997 to compliment the ongoing ministry of Kairos Prison Ministries in Louisiana. The ministry continues its work to help reintegrate ex-offenders into society and to live productive, Christ centered lives. We network with local social services agencies and programs to help provide housing, job search and placement services, life skills counseling and assistance, alcohol and drug addiction rehabilitation, medical attention, documentation, and the basic needs of life.

Types Of Activity

Ministry within the walls, primarily with Kairos Prison Ministries. Coordinate with other agencies and social services programs to help ex-offenders reintegrate into society. Teach and support mini-enterprise development to help provide gainful employment for ex-offenders.

Location

Louisiana and later in 2007, Coquimbo, Chile.
