Who We AreBorn in prison Gospel One is more than a singing group. Under the leadership of ministers Art and Zylphia McAllister they are a psalmist, teaching and outreach ministry called to encourage and inspire, those who are lost to reach for the upward calling in Christ Jesus. Their goal is simple, to deliver "a message to set the captives free" Isa.61:1, to inspire and challenge men and women from all walks of life to take their rightful places in their homes, communities and places of worship. Our VisionTo strengthen the spiritual growth of those being released from prison, drug and alcohol recovery facilities, their family members and all others in need by means of ministering the Word of God, psalmistry and prayer. To help provide and partner with those who provide food, clothing, referrals for employment and spiritual counseling and guidance. We also provide bible study through our teaching ministry.Types Of ActivityMinistering the Word of God through psalmistry, testimonies and exhortation, written publications, speaking and prayer. About Our Prison MinistryThe songs on the 1st CD, "No Easy Road" were written and first ministered behind the walls of Calipatria State Prison in CA where the ministry began when Art was incarcerated there in 1996. God gave him the desire and put it upon his heart to share the love and the gift of salvation he had so freely received from Jesus. A year after release in 1998, the No Easy Road CD was released. Now along with his wife Zylphia they continue in the work of the Lord here and to the nations of the worldSupport InSince 1998 we have been invited to numerous churches and special events that focus on prison ministry, as well as regular church services and support group functions. Many support our ministry though their love offerings and Cd purchases that help us to continue to minister to the needs of those who are in prison and those transitioning back to society from rehabs and homelessness.Ministry EventsNo upcoming events listed at INPM Calendar of Events. |
