Who We Are
In April 1997, Worldwide Voice In the Wilderness received the Governor George W. Bush Award for Volunteer Services to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for his ministry to the marriages of Texas inmates and TDCJ officers and staff. He received the award again from Governor Rick Perry and was named "The Best Family Ministry in Texas" serving the prisons.
Our Vision
Worldwide Voice In the Wilderness exists to spread the full gospel message of Jesus Christ to prisoners, professional correctional personnel, victims of crime, and their respective families.
Types Of Activity
WVIW provides strengthening of relationships between inmates and their spouses by providing 3 Day Marriage Seminars inside the units.
Through WVIW's Transitional Home, we help aid and empower Ex Offenders by heading up programs and services designed to reduce recidivism and Increase Public Safety.
Location
The State of Texas, Various Prisons in The United States and in Several destinations around the world including, Russia, Scotland, Belarus, Jamaica, Africa, Mexico, Honduras
