Who We Are

Alpha Prison Ministries was founded in 1983. It conducts weekly Bible studies in seven southwest Michigan prisons. It provides transitional housing for former inmates in the Grand Rapids area. It provides mentoring services to former inmates.

Our Vision

Our purpose is to evangelize and disciple men who happen to be prisoners and former inmates.

Types Of Activity

Weekly Bible studies in seven southwest Michigan prisons led by over 40 volunteers. We provide transitional housing for seven former inmates from six to twelve months to prepare them spiritually, socially and financially for society.

Location

Prisons with APM Bible studies are located in Grand Rapids, Carson City, Ionia, Muskegon, St Louis.

We publish a monthly newsletter. We mail it to our mailing list or it is available at our web-site.

Support In

Pray for our volunteers, the inmates at our studies and the men in residence at Alpha House.
