Who We AreCalvary Commission is a Christ-centered group of churches and missions bases with special emphasis in the areas of prison ministry, discipleship, missions training, and ministry and missions opportunities.Our VisionWe believe that God can take a person from the guttermost to the uttermost. He can turn murderers into missionaries and prisoners into preachers. Our goal is to convince each person that God has a dream for their life and then to help them to achieve that dream.Types Of ActivityWe operate the International College of Missions and the first year is aimed at aftercare and discipleship. The student can began their training immediately upon release. There are other students who do not have a prison background. We have been in Prison ministry and evangelistic crusades as well as pastoral care and volunteer chaplaincy providing assistance to the chaplains at various prison units since 1974.LocationWe have ministered in Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, Arkansas, Arizona, Iowa, North Carolina, Missouri, and Minnesota as well as Mexico, Belize, Cuba, Romania, and England.Our magazine (newsletter)Breakthrough Missions News is published six times annually.
