Who We AreCommunity Recovery's Prison Ministry is a voluntary-reliant Christ centered recovery ministry.We reach out to those who are incarcerated by addressing real life, real issues and help all experience real recovery. We receive people as they are, to provide renewal and restoration. Always helping hurt people to return to God's loving grace and society. Bringing people to the right resources at the right time. Volunteers and contributions are always needed.Our VisionTo care and connect with the right people and resources at the right time. To develop a program that reduces the repeat offender rate through the healing power of Jesus Christ.Types Of ActivitySupport Groups & Cafe 7:00-9:15 pm; Every Friday Night 52 Weeks a Year;7:00-7:45 Worship 7:45-8:45 Small Groups 8:45-9:15 Cafe Time Life Recovery Bible Study; Introduction to Celebrate Recovery(R); Chemical Dependency; Alcoholics Anonymous; Women's Issues; Sacred Beginnings; Co-Dependency; Depression; Emotions Anonymous; Men's Issues A Support Group for families of the incarcerated call for more information. LocationWe are currently in the Deerfield Correctional facility in Ionia, Michigan. We are expanding and we need volunteers that are willing to share about six hours a month. Financial donations are needed as well.About Our Prison MinistryCommunity Recovery International is a voluntary-reliant 501c(3) non-profit Christ centered organization that provides the Celebrate Recovery(R) program for those on the outside and those on the inside of prisons. CRI also provides other Bible based support groups at New Community Church, its parent organization. We reach out of those with hurts, habits, and hang ups, in a non-judgmental, safe environment. We receive people as they are to provide renewal and restoration.Support InWe are always looking for support through volunteers and financial donations to help.
