Who We AreEstablished in 1981, we are a multi denominational, multiracial and multicultural fellowship of prison ministry volunteers who follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. We are the facilitators of an annual prison ministry conference in W.V. Rev. Williams was the 2002 recipient of the Attorney General's National Citizens Volunteer Award and the Citizen Volunteer Award from the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Our VisionOur vision is to reach out to all ethnic groups within the prison system with the gospel of Jesus Christ; to make a difference in the lives and future of prison inmates and their families; to bridge the gap from prison to society through establishing a Christian transition home for released offenders; to establish a Christian home for prisoner's children.Types Of ActivityWe present the gospel through music, song, teaching and preaching of the Word. We network with various churches to meet the various needs of incarcerated and released offenders. We hold annual prison ministry conferences where incarcerated and released offenders are given the opportunity to share their Christian faith and talents. We disciple offenders in their Christian faith and help to launch them into ministry. We oversee volunteer ministries in other states and countries.LocationWe minister in Federal prisons in West Virginia; state prisons, jail and camp facilities in West Virginia and Ohio. Our goal is to minister in prisons globally. Our ministry reaches other states and countries through follow-up ministry, newsletters, etc.Our magazine (newsletter)Our 4 page newsletter, "The Jailhouse "Rock" is available quarterly by subscription. The newsletter will be mailed free to prison inmates upon request. You may contact us through our INPM website.About Our Prison MinistryWe now have a unique literacy program that is available to teach the deaf and prison inmates, using the Bible as a textbook. If you would like to order the Teacher's Manual, contact us through our INPM website. We also have worship and teaching CD's/DVD's and a special prison ministry conference DVD featuring prison inmate praise and worship team available upon request.Support InWe need a facility where we can minister 24/7 to the lost and hurting. We especially want to open up a Christian home for prisoners children and Juvenile delinquents. We minister in Juvenile Detention Centers and it is heartbreaking to hear the stories of our youth. to grow up in an atmosphere where they can be taught about Jesus Christ and where they can be children. We are a small, quickly growing volunteer ministry and we need your support.Ministry EventsNo upcoming events listed at INPM Calendar of Events. |
