Who We AreWe are a newer community, created to shepherd and become a home for all those without a spiritual home. We retain basic Catholic beliefs of love, faith, spirituality, prayer and sacramentality. However in regards to social justice, we are an inclusive church. We accept all people and hold no bounds or limits to people seeking the love of God.Our VisionA home that speaks faith in God and faith in oneself, relevant to the world at the beginning of the twenty-first century, that speaks of compassion, sensitivity and sincerity, that embraces weakness and finds strength in difference, for the person imprisoned in any way, either internally or externally, it is freedom to be oneself, with the assurance that real love always reveals itself as mercy, and that mercy is the ability to love oneself.Types Of ActivityI have been involved in pen pal ministry since 2001. I intend to procure credentials to enter the prisons as a chaplain to minister to the spiritual needs of offenders. I am open to the Spirit as He leads me to uncover new areas in which to minister. I was praying about prison advocacy as well as ministering to the needs of offender victims and their families. My hope is to foster forgiveness through the healing power of Divine Mercy of Jesus.LocationPresently, I correspond with offenders in Florida, Texas, Maryland, and California. Regionally, the Divine Mercy Ministry will focus on Federal and Commonwealth prisons in Virginia.About Our Prison MinistryOffering prayer for those imprisoned internally or externally, providing sacraments of the holy catholic and apostolic church without prejudice, offering mercy, forgiveness, and acceptance.Support InAll prayers are welcomed. I could use help with stamps, envelopes, prayer cards, postage. Also, looking for catholics in the Richmond, Virginia area who have no church home.Ministry EventsNo upcoming events listed at INPM Calendar of Events. |
