Who We Are Our ministry is primarily focused on youth inmates in the metropolitan Phoenix area. Activities include Bible studies, worship services, group discussion sessions, all directed toward salvation and learning to know God and His word. We began the current thrust in February 1998. To date, more than 100 youth have accepted Jesus as Saviour and have been baptized.
Our Vision Our vision is to win and keep souls through love and faith in Jesus Christ through worship, the teaching and preaching of the Gospel. Our focus is found in 2 Corinthians 4:5-7, and our prayer is that the excellency of the power will be of God and not of us. We plan to expand our target range to encompass adult offenders as well.
Types Of Activity In addition to Bible study and discussion groups, Bible memory quizzes, and worship services, we conduct Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday drives for food and clothing for youth in prison. Some of the prison ministry serve as mentors and others as pen pals.
In October 2005 we began to train 8-10 youth for to sing praise and worship music acapella. To date, they have sung at two events--Thanksgiving service and G.E.D./high school graduation programs.
