Who We Are
Bill is an ex-offender from Dallas. He spent five years in the Texas prison system. Now Bill lives in Abilene with his family and works in prison missions daily teaching mentoring inmates. Free and Forgiven is the name and philosophy of this ministry of mentoring and life skills training for inmates and their families throughout the Texas prison system.
Our Vision
Our vision is simply to share the life saving gospel of Jesus with Texas inmates and their families through ministry and by example.
Types Of Activity
As a volunteer Chaplain, Bill and his wife Trisha currently teach two marriage and parenting classes and two anger management classes for substance abuse and mental health clients. Between classes, Bill does pastoral counseling. Bill also conducts two worship services on the third Sunday of each month as well as the first two Wednesday night services of each month at the Middleton Unit.
Location
We currently focus on the Abilene and surrounding area. We hope to expand this work to the DFW area real soon.
