Who We Are Gospel Express Ministries began as a one-family singing team and has grown into a muli-facted organization with staff and supporters all across the country. We have been in prison ministry for over twenty years. Through Gospel Express, other ministries have formed, such as Door of Hope Biblical Counseling in NC, the Carolina Chaplaincy Program in SC, a chaplaincy program in Florida (GEMS) and Living Hope International Ministries based in Arthur, IL.
Our Vision Our primary goal is to bring glory and honor to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We want to follow His pattern in ministering unto "the least of these" and equip the saints for the work of the ministry by utilizing lay people in the prison crusades and services, nurturing saints to become spiritually reproductive disciples of Christ.
Types Of Activity We conduct weekend prison crusades and one-time services. We publish and coordinate two correspondence Bible study series for inmates, coordinate pen pals, and provide a Bondage to Freedom seminar to help inmates work through rejection and bitterness to forgiveness. We have five singing teams that travel throughout the U.S. and Canada singing in churches and prisons, and we have two evangelists who conduct community tent crusades and revival meetings by request.
Location We minister in jails and prisons throughout the U.S. and Canada, as well as Africa.
Our magazine (newsletter)
We publish a newsletter approximately five times a year and distribute it free of charge.
Support In We need volunteers for our prison crusades, and we are praying for volunteer chaplains to work full-time in the prisons of South Carolina.
