Who We Are
Gospel Lighthouse Prison Evangelism was founded by Dr. J.W. Stansell [AKA Gospel J], and is an evangelistic prison ministry that ministers to incarcerated men and women throughout the United States. The purpose of this soul-winning ministry is to shine the light of the gospel behind the dark walls of prison. It is our desire to win lost inmates to Christ, and to edify and encourage incarcerated believers.Types Of Activity
Our ministry team holds live evangelistic and chapel services inside of prisons. We also mail out FREE Bibles, Correspondence Courses and other literature to inmates all across America. We host an annual Victims Advocate Day and minister to the needs of the victims of violent crimes, and weminister to at-risk kids and teens in an effort to keep them off of drugs and alcohol, out of gangs and prison, and we help them with any learning needs they may have.
