Who We AreWe minister to inmates at the Mt. Pleasant Correctional Facility for men and the Mitchelville Facility for women in Iowa. We have given our testimonies about abortion to the Justice Foundation "Outcry" and will be appearing on their TV show "Faces of Abortion" shown in 110 countries. We write a prison ministry newsletter, Voice of Freedom, which goes out to 1,100 prisoners in Iowa and surrounding states.Our VisionSpreading the message of God's love, mercy, forgiveness, and healing to all people. For people to seek God's healing forgiveness in order to obtain release from past sin, crime, child abuse, and sexual abuse. For people to understand the truth in love about abortion's physical, emotional, and spiritual damage to women and men. For our life stories to contribute positive results in the common cause of rehabilitating offenders and preventing future victims.Types Of ActivityConduct worship services at the Mt. Pleasant Correctional Facility each third and fifth Wednesday of each month to an average of 65 men. At Mitchelville, there are around 30 women who come to our service held every other month. We speak a various local churches giving a message or telling of our ministry. We speak at various abortion events, giving our testimonies.LocationMt. Pleasant Correctional Facility located in Mt. Pleasant Iowa. To the women at the Mitchelville Correctional Facility located in Mitchelville, Iowa. We go to the Linn county jail to minister to women who have suffered sexual abuse.Our magazine (newsletter)Our newsletter, "The Voice of Freedom" is sent monthly to around 1,100 prisoners in Iowa and surrounding states. The newsletter is free, printed on legal size paper front and back. Two churches in Waterloo, Iowa send this newsletter for us, paying for the postage and printing costs.
