About Our Prison Ministry

The Journey of Hope is hosted by Rodney Mathers. Rodney enjoyed a rewarding career as a teacher and a football coach for 16 years. After a horrible and selfish decision, and having never even had as much as a traffic ticket, Rodney found himself serving 7 years and 11 months in the Texas prison system. Now home, he has dedicated his life to helping ex-offenders.
