Who We Are

AFS Family Skills Institute and AFS Publishing Company - both divisions of Jubilee Enterprises -- were founded by Pastors James V. Potter, Ph.D, and Paula M. Potter, MA, in Hawaii in 1987 and moved to California in 1996 focusing on the 'at-risk' families and individuals, struggling with addictions, codependency, family abuse and violence and other life-controlling problems.

Our Vision

Our vision is to help carry out the ministry of Isaiah 61:1,2 and Isaiah 61:1-3
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,

Types Of Activity

Online courses for self-help, counselor training and certification, and college credit courses.

Location

We offer residents of jails and prisons the opportuinity to take our courses at substantially reduced cost through the services of universal class -- charging the minimum allowable per course of $8.00, by providing inmates a special enrollment key. Books are also available at substantial quantity discount.
