Our Vision

Our vision is to bring the message of salvation to every child in Regional Youth Detention Centers and to every woman in County Jails in our area. We also want to educate the public in general and the Christian community in particular public about the inmates of these facilities to gain understanding, prayer, volunteer workers and financial support.

Types Of Activity

We hold regular worship services and Bible studies within the facilities; visit the families of the inmates both while they are incarcerated and after they return home; provide Christian and emotional counseling to inmates, Bibles, clothing for children leaving our facilities, birthday and holiday celebrations including gifts, and publish a monthly newsletter.

Location

Within a 50-mile radius of Rome, GA, USA. Rome is near Atlanta, GA.

About Our Prison Ministry

The ministry was founded in 1983 by Connie McCarley. She is full-time chaplain of the Rome Regional Youth Development Center, works part-time for Immanuel Broadcasting, has written articles for Evangel Magazine, wrote and published the booklet Working Wit
