Who We Are

Re-Entry Jail and Prison Ministry (RPJM) is a San Diego-based ministry dedicated to helping those who are ex-offenders. The primary purpose of our web site is to offer a directory for resource information to chaplains and jail ministers who assist and disciple ex-offenders.

Our Vision

The purpose and goal of Re-Entry Prison and Jail Ministry is to help people whose lives have been affected by incarceration. Our ministry focuses on three areas:

1. Helping Chaplains and jail workers find the resources they need to assist inmates.
2. Helping inmates with referral information to help themselves re-enter society.
3. Helping family and friends of those incarcerated find support for themselves and loved ones.

Types Of Activity

1. Publishing the Re-Entry Directory.
2. Networking with similar organizations.
3. Teaching, mentoring ex-offenders and the friends and family involved in their recovery.

We publish a newsletter approximately 4 times a year. It's free for those who want to be on our mailing list and contribute a small donation yearly.
