Who We Are
Started in October 2006, we operate in the South London borough of Lambeth, on a strict FUBU principle: For Us By Us - we are entirely run by offenders for offenders.
We've had brothers sharing their testimony at our once monthly meetings on Brixton Hill. They'll share for up to an hour. In regular attendance are local prison chaplains, mentor trusts, folk who get ex-offenders back to work. It is a general networking place and fellowship for ex-offenders, offenders, mentors & friends.
To provide a networking fellowship place to grow ex-offender work. To spread the knowledge amongst the UK churches & the folk not yet in them that Jesus is at work in our communities and can transform any life no matter what extreme it came from.
Types Of Activity
Getting a few testimonies up of folks who've spent time on the wrong side of the law, or the world; and have tested and found true the promises of new life in a carpenter who lived and died and lived two millennium ago.
The reason and aim is so that you might draw hope for yourself, and come to know the same man at work in your life as your unconditional friend, the higher power, the brother born for trouble.
The growth in godliness of our fellowship, the rooftop from which to shout the news "Your God reigns!", the voice with which to shout it. And the motivation, love, to get up there and keep doing it.
