Who We Are
Community Chaplaincy Outreach, Inc. was formed in 2012 to serve the incarcerated behind bars and their families especially the children who must face their peers. In 2013 we added an emergency food component. Chaplain Bernell Wesley is a member of the Clayton County Georgia Taskforce on Prisoner Reentry and a Georgia state certified volunteer Chaplain.
Community Chaplaincy Outreach, Inc. exists to support and minister to men who are "doing time" and their families who are forced to do time with them.
Types Of Activity
We host family weeklend excursions where the focus is allowing families to reconnect in a neutral fun atmosphere. Travel, hiking, camping, and fishing trips. We offer emergency food and transportation to job interviews, jobs, parole, and probation appointments.
Clayton County Jail, Clayton County Prison, and McCormick State Prison in McCormick South Carolina. We will be ministering in other select Georgia State and County Prisons in the near future.
We need funds, a van to increase transportaion, a pickup truck for our food ministry, and a storage space for our food ministry and other supplies.
