Dixon Correctional Prison Ministry

Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me.

Who We Are

Our ministry has existed since 1986, when Millie Ucci was given the ministry under the heading of Seventh-day Adventist. Since then, a small but loyal group of volunteer chaplains have given dedicated service to our friends behind bars. My name is Bonnie Hvarre and I will be taking over when Millie, now 87 yrs old, retires from leadership soon.

Our Vision

Our vision for this ministry is to show the oppressed what God has for them. It doesn't matter what they did, God forgives and teaches. We are there for the men and their families and we will hold the banner high for all to see.

Types Of Activity

About Our Prison Ministry

There is no feeling in the world that can compare with the light in the eyes of the once condemned and downtrodden of the forgotten when they learn of Christ and Salvation!
