Who We Are Kairos Prison Ministry is an ecumenical Christian ministry. Kairos, Ohio District, operates as an affiliate of Kairos Prison Ministry, Inc. which governs with a national Board of Directors. Ohio Kairos operates three major ministries: 1: Kairos (the oldest and main ministry) " 2: Kairos Outside, and 3: Torch. The mission of Kairos is to help grow and nurture strong Christian Communities within state and federal correctional institutions.
Our Vision Brnging Christs love into the pri nd sharing what He gives us.
"And now I give you a new commandment; love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. If you have love for one another, then everyone will know you are my disciples." (John 13:34-35)
Location The main Kairos ministry is operating in Lebanon Correctional Institution (LeCI), the Ohio Reformatory for Women (ORW), Marion Correctional Institution (MCI), Ross Correctional Institution (RCI), Trumbull Correctional Institution (TCI), Toledo Correctional Institution (ToCI), the Ohio State Penitentiary (OSP), and the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility at Lucasville (SOCF).
Support In All the volunteers that go into Prisons to Bring Agape love to not only the residents but to the staff as well. For the residents, that they will come to this event with an open mind and a desire to understand what is being said and done.
